Again to Cuttack
Tomorrow we travel to Cuttack by train for another dance performance. Freya has spent the last week learning new items and polishing the older ones. At Cuttack we will attend a Children’s Theatre & Dance festival organised by UNESCO, Denmark. Freya will be performing four items. I hope to get some video of the performance, process it for the web & upload so you all can see some snippets of what she has learnt. This week Caspar has discovered the “pure Andra meals” which are the Andra Pradesh style banana leaf thalis. We have been joking that whenever Sandeep asks us what we might like to do, food is always number one on Caspar’s agenda. Today we had some beautiful food cooked by locals who are friends of Sandeep. We had a fish curry that was so tasty Caspar had to lie down on the couch afterwards as he had eaten so much.

Today also was the last lesson from Vedantam Radheshyam. As we were leaving, Radheshyam reached up to his wall and pulled down the picture of Radha & Krishna that was hanging there. He gave this to Freya to remind her of him as his name is Radheshyam means Radha (Radhe) Krishna (Shyam). It was a very sweet gesture, one which touched us all.

Dear Freya good luck for your dance performance on the 16th. Thankyou Lene and Guy for the great stories and pictures it is so enjoyable.
Love to Caspar and all of you from Grandma.
